Media debt collection in excess of £90,000. A huge sum was recovered for Manchester based Media Company. Following the service of a Statutory Demand. The debtor a London based advertising company complained they hadn’t been paid by their client Fiat. Of course our clients contract was not with Fiat and so that was totally irrelevant.

The monies were recovered within 4 months following the service of a Statutory Demand. With monthly payments of £10,000 followed by a lump sum of £50,000.

It is not uncommon for a debtor to blame a third party for their inability to pay an invoice. The creditor should always be very clear in terms of knowing exactly who they are dealing with and confirming before allowing credit terms
